Is this for you?

This is for you if…

  • You’re recovering from injury or surgery to your back, hips, knees, shoulders, or an ACL
  • You’ve already been cleared, or are close to cleared, by a healthcare professional or physiotherapist
  • You want training that’s actively coordinated with your physio, not separate from it
  • You’re managing a condition like diabetes, hypertension, or arthritis and want to train safely alongside it

Not for you if…

  • You haven’t yet been medically cleared to train; we’ll always require this first
  • You want a generic programme with no coordination with your existing care team
02The gap

Nobody joins the two halves up

What you’ve been doing

Two sets of advice

Medical guidance on one side, generic gym advice on the other, with no one connecting the two.

Why it doesn’t work

It can work against you

A programme that isn’t built around your actual diagnosis and clearance risks working against your recovery instead of supporting it.

The FitBeat alternative

Your physio signs it off

We only start once you’re cleared by a healthcare professional or physiotherapist. We run our own assessment, build your programme around their guidance, and have it re-checked by them before you begin — then keep checking back in as you progress.

03Process

How it works

01

Assess

We only ever start working with someone once they’ve been given clearance by a healthcare professional or qualified physiotherapist. If we feel it’s necessary, we’ll always run our own assessment to gather additional data points beyond theirs.

02

Build

We make sure the programme we craft from the guidance of your physiotherapist or healthcare professional is vetted by them again before we deploy it to you — fit for purpose, avoiding any exercises of concern.

03

Progress

As we go, we keep modifying accordingly — or prioritising the movements we should be doing more of — checking back with your physio or doctor to keep recovery on track.

04Scoreboard

What we track

We have experience training people through the most common areas of injury: the lumbar or lower back region, hips, knees, ACL-related athletic conditions, and shoulders.

  • Range of motion and mobility
  • Strength returning to the affected area
  • Pain and comfort through movement
  • Confidence returning to full activity
  • Coordination with your physio or doctor’s guidance

Credentials, and one real story

We don’t yet have a full rehab client story we can publish with numbers, and we won’t write one we can’t stand behind. What we can show you is one real quote about working alongside a physio, and exactly how our coaches are qualified.

“They worked with my physio to rehab my ACL surgery. We worked on squat mechanics and corrected a big right vs left leg strength imbalance. The coaching is highly technical and detail-driven ... every rep had a purpose.”

06Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I do personal training with a knee injury or lower back pain?

Once you’ve been cleared by a healthcare professional or physiotherapist, yes, and usually you should. These conditions are often caused or worsened by inactivity, so moving more, done correctly, tends to speed recovery rather than risk it.

My physio referred me — how do you work with them?

We take your training and therapeutic history and current status from them, run our own assessment, and build a programme they approve before we start. As we go, we check back in to confirm we’re doing the right exercises and avoiding anything we shouldn’t, and we send routine progress reports back to the referrer.

Can I train with diabetes, hypertension, or arthritis?

With medical clearance, yes. All three conditions can genuinely improve with the right strength and fitness work, and we’ll help you manage them safely alongside your treatment.

What health screening do you do before I start?

A standard set of industry medical questions, a look at lifestyle factors and training history, and any notes or reports from your healthcare provider or physiotherapist.

What credentials or qualifications do your coaches have for clinical trust?

Certifications, First Aid / CPR / AED, at least a year’s real coaching experience, fully vetted by veteran coaches, and fully insured. We’re also NREP registered, which is Singapore’s government-recognised trainer registry.
