Is this for you?

This is for you if…

  • They spend a lot of time sedentary (screens, sitting, studying) and need a positive routine to counter it
  • They lack confidence in sport, PE, or the gym
  • They’re active in sport and need better movement skills and resilience to perform and stay injury-free
  • You’ve noticed focus, mood, or energy dipping and want to see if movement helps
  • You want them building real skills and friendships, not just burning energy

Not for you if…

  • You’re looking for random hard workouts with no coaching or skill-building
  • You want sport-specific drills only; this is athletic development, not a sports academy
  • They’re not willing to slow down and learn technique first

Parents: we know safety is your #1 priority. It’s ours too; we never load a movement until the technique is clean.

02The gap

Sitting still is the real problem

What you’ve been doing

Screens in, movement out

More screen time than movement, more sitting than playing, with extra tuition or practice added on top, but little that actually builds their body or their confidence.

Why it doesn’t work

It shows up beyond fitness

A sedentary routine doesn’t just affect fitness; it affects the energy and focus they bring to schoolwork, and the confidence they carry into a classroom, a court, or a group of other kids.

The FitBeat alternative

Coached skill, then strength

Structured, coached movement that builds real strength and skill, and with it, the focus, energy, and self-belief that shows up well beyond the session.

03Process

How it works

01

Assess

We check movement quality, coordination, and current strength to identify what’s actually needed.

02

Build

We teach the fundamentals: squat, hinge, push, pull, carry — plus sprint, jump, and landing mechanics where relevant. Group sessions mean they’re building this alongside other kids, not alone.

03

Progress

As competency and confidence grow, we increase intensity and complexity — and it starts showing up in how they carry themselves, in sport, at school, and with friends.

04Scoreboard

What we track

Our safety-first approach: technique before intensity, age-appropriate loading, progressions earned through control, and a genuinely supportive coaching environment throughout.

  • Skill checkpoints — movement quality, control, coordination, technique
  • Strength progression — age-appropriate, technique-led
  • Activity consistency — a weekly routine that counters sedentary time
  • Focus and cognition — problem-solving, perception, and communication
  • Confidence and connection — how they show up with coaches and other kids, not just how they perform

06Questions

Frequently asked questions

What age can my child start?

We generally train children of any age, but readiness depends on maturity and focus. We’ll assess this during the consultation.

Is lifting weights safe for kids?

Yes. Supervised strength training is safe and beneficial. We prioritise technique and appropriate loading above all else.

Do they train alone or in a group?

We offer both 1:1 coaching and group bootcamps. Many young clients thrive in the small group environment for motivation and fun.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes, including warm-up, skill work, strength training, and cooldown.

Will this help with their specific sport?

Yes. We build general athleticism — speed, power, strength, and coordination — which translates directly to better performance in any sport. We’re an athletic development programme, not a sports academy, so we won’t replace their sport coaching.

“Will this actually help with focus and schoolwork, or is that a stretch?”

We don’t claim to be a study programme; we’re a movement one. But a consistent routine that builds energy, better sleep habits, and confidence tends to carry over into how kids show up for schoolwork too. It’s a side benefit of the habit, not the main promise.

“My child doesn’t play sport — will they still fit in?”

Yes. Many of our young clients aren’t athletes at all; they’re kids who need a positive, confidence-building routine and often make friends in the process.
